Classic Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup Karo light or dark syrup
2 Tbls. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups pecan halves
1 (9 inch) frozen deep dish pie shell

Directions:

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Preheat cookie sheet as well.

Step 2:
In large bowl, stir first 5 ingredients until well blended.

Step 3:
Place pecan halves in bottom of frozen pie shell.

Step 4:
Pour pie filling over pecans.

Step 5:
Place pie crust on cookie sheet and bake 50 - 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
