Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days, recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!
- Charles Dickens

To celebrate the heart of Christmas is to forget ourselves in the service of others.

Glazed Christmas Ham Recipe

Ingredients:
5-6 lb. fully cooked ham
1/4 cup whole cloves
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. honey mustard sauce

Directions:

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Place ham, cut side down in a large, foil-lined roasting pan. Score the surface of the ham with a knife, in a diamond pattern, then place the whole cloves in the scores, where the lines intersect.

Step 2:
Mix the honey mustard and brown sugar in a small bowl.

Step 3:
Brush some of the glaze over the ham, then cover with foil. Bake for approximately 1 and 1/2 hours at 325 degrees, basting ham every 20 - 30 minutes with the glaze. During the last 5 minutes of baking time, remove the foil and turn on broiler to caramelize the glaze, being careful to watch it closely during this time, to avoid burning the top. Then, remove ham from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
